Pet Import for Animals Travelling to the UK What you should do before arriving in the UK. From pet immigration, to pets on holiday, Airpets Heathrow receive pet imports of dogs, cats and many other animals, daily from all over the world. These animals travel to the UK either under the Pet Travel Scheme or under full quarantine regulations. The Pet Travel Scheme allows pets to travel to the UK without having to complete 6 months quarantine. (Please visit the Pet Travel Scheme page for full details). Other pets travelling to the UK from countries that do not qualify for the Pet Travel Scheme, must complete 6 months quarantine, and arrive in the UK with an import permit. (Please visit the Quarantine Facilities page for more information). Making life easy for you! For the quarantine, we will carry out all the important paperwork on your behalf once the deposit has been paid & date of arrival confirmed. All you need to do is make the necessary pet export arrangements, following the requirements of the country concerned.
