Just to let you know that we have Bertie at home with us here in Cayman. He arrived yesterday late afternoon and I nearly had a heart attack as we watched all the baggage arrive and no Bertie!! The Cayman Agriculture lady went in search and drew a blank and panic had started to set in when the baggage mover clanked back into life and one solitary crate appeared with a small dog desperate for a pee!
According to a friend here just about everyone in the airport knew that Bertie was arriving - even the flight tower instructed the BA pilot to make sure of a good landing as Bertie was on board!! The message just hadn't reached anyone we spoke to!!
All is now well and Bertie seems very interested in his new and exciting world.
